Hollywood & VR
Why’s Hollywood pushing the CGI/virtual reality aspect so hard? I will bet you that these sequences probably account for a good nine minutes of the movie in that one part of the story. Such a waste of time and effort. Don’t they know the fans don’t even really care about that part? Fun bit of trivia: The “Fight Back” teaser, which focused primarily on Tris and Four, got some 100,000 tweets, while the “She Is the One” pixel fest that was released during the Super Bowl pregame show got all of 5,000 or so tweets. Because the fans don’t care about pointless SFX scenes that don’t have anything to do with the plot. They care about the characters and the story. The big action sequences might entice general audiences, but they won’t care or even hear about silly cross-promotion things like this Samsung thing either. Who is in charge of the marketing and promotion for this movie??? #MoreFOUR
